Off-The-Job (OTJ) training percentage is calculated based on the total contracted hours of the apprenticeship and the actual OTJ hours logged. This metric helps track compliance with apprenticeship requirements.

- Total Contracted Hours should represent the entire apprenticeship duration, not weekly hours.
- To calculate total contracted hours:
Weekly working hours × Number of weeks in the apprenticeship
Formula for OTJ Percentage
(Actual Off-the-job Hours ÷ Total Contracted Hours) x 100
- Actual OTJ % shows what percentage of total contracted hours have been logged as off-the-job.
- The OTJ % should reach 20% once all target OTJ hours are completed.
Alternative Setup
If you prefer OTJ % to reach 100% instead of 20%:
- Enter Target OTJ Hours into the Total Contracted Hours field.
- Change Target OTJ % to 100%.
