Overview
The Portfolio Showcase feature allows you to download a learner’s portfolio in a ZIP file format for offline viewing. This is useful for audits, reviews, or sharing evidence outside OneFile.
Who Can Use This Feature?
This feature can be used by the following user roles:
- Centre Manager
- Centre Monitor
- Assessor
- Learner
- Internal Quality Assurer
- Lead Internal Quality Assurer
- Employer
- Observers
Centre Setting Required
- Enable the portfolio showcase feature
Steps to Request a Portfolio Showcase
Navigate to the learner’s portfolio.
In the Information and Options section, click Manage.
Click Portfolio Showcase.
Tick the Assessments you want to include.
Click Request New Download.
Result:
- You will receive a message notification when the showcase is ready.
- To download, click Download ZIP File.
How to View the Portfolio Showcase
- Locate the downloaded ZIP file.
- Extract the ZIP file (usually by right-clicking and selecting Extract All).
- Open the folder titled Portfolio (unless renamed).
- Open the file titled Index.htm.
Tip:
Opening Index.htm in a browser will allow you to navigate the portfolio showcase as if you were online.
Important Notes
- Do not attempt to open files directly from the ZIP without extracting.
- Refer to your operating system documentation for extracting ZIP files.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Cannot request showcase | Check if the Centre setting “Enable portfolio showcase feature” is turned on. |
| ZIP file won’t open | Ensure the file is extracted before opening Index.htm. |
| Missing assessments | Confirm they were selected before requesting the download. |
