Overview
The Portfolio Showcase feature allows you to download a learner’s portfolio as a ZIP file for offline viewing. This is useful for audits, reviews, inspections, or sharing evidence outside of Onefile.

Centre Settings
- Enable the portfolio showcase feature must be turned on.
Steps to Request a Portfolio Showcase
Step 1: Open the Learner’s Portfolio
Step 2: Navigate to the Portfolio Showcase Option
- In the Information and Options section, click Manage.
- Click Portfolio Showcase.
Step 3: Choose What to Include
- Tick the Assessments you want included in the showcase.
Step 4: Request the Download
- Click Request New Download.
Result
- You will receive a message notification when the ZIP file is ready.
- Click Download ZIP File to retrieve it.
How to View the Portfolio Showcase
Step 1: Extract the ZIP File
- Locate the downloaded ZIP file.
- Right‑click and select Extract All (or use your operating system’s extraction tool).
Step 2: Open the Showcase
- Open the folder titled Portfolio (unless renamed).
- Open the file named Index.htm.
Tip: Opening Index.htm in a browser allows you to navigate the showcase as if you were viewing the portfolio online.
Important Notes
- Do not attempt to open files directly from the ZIP without extracting — this may cause errors.
- Refer to your device or operating system documentation for help extracting ZIP files.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Cannot request showcase | Check if the Centre setting “Enable portfolio showcase feature” is turned on. |
| ZIP file won’t open | Ensure the file has been fully extracted before opening Index.htm. |
| Missing assessments | Confirm they were selected before requesting the download. |
