Assigning a Sampling Policy

Overview

Centre Managers, Lead IQAs and IQAs can assign a Sampling Policy to Assessors. This ensures that sampling activity is planned correctly and remains compliant with your organisation’s quality assurance requirements.

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • Centre Manager
  • Lead Internal Quality Assurer
  • Internal Quality Assurer

Permissions

To assign sampling policies, users must have:

  • Can assign sampling policies

Steps

How to Assign a Sampling Policy

  1. Click the Sampling Policies icon or link.
  2. If a Sampling Policy already exists, you will be taken directly to the Assign Sampling Policies page.
  3. On this page, you will see a list of Assessors linked to you.
  4. Tick the checkbox next to each Assessor you want to assign the policy to.
  5. Select the required Sampling Policy from the drop‑down list.
  6. Click Assign.

Compliance Check

Once a Sampling Policy has been assigned:

  • You can immediately see whether the policy is compliant.
  • If a Sampling Plan already exists, the system will show whether the planned sampling meets the policy requirements.
  • IVs can manually edit the planned sampling. The Compliancy column will turn green when the required amount of sampling has been planned.

✔️ Tip: Regularly review compliance to ensure all sampling meets quality standards.
