Enhancements
Eportfolio
- It is now possible to prevent users from deleting components and modules copied from a template in a learner’s delivery plan. This can be managed using the permission ‘Can delete modules and components from a delivery plan.’ Instead, if a learner is not to complete a particular component, tick the exempt checkbox. This will exclude the assigned Total hours and OTJ hours from the learner’s totals. The exempt components will not be visible to the learner or in the ILP.
- When locking a delivery plan, the OTJ values can be copied to the learner’s episode. This feature is only available if the user has the permission ‘Can update learner’s episode from a delivery plan. More information can be found here.
- When locking a delivery plan, the OTJ values can be copied to the learner’s episode. This feature is only available if the user has the permission ‘Can update learner’s episode from a delivery plan. More information can be found here.
- A new permission, “Can unlock a locked delivery plan,” has been introduced, enabling users to unlock a learner's locked delivery plan. It is not possible to unlock a delivery plan if the learner already has a draft plan. More information on delivery plan permissions can be found here.
- The tick boxes on the Assigning framework template page have been updated so a delivery plan can be assigned without updating the learning aims. More information can be found here.
- You can now incorporate the delivery plan into the ILP. Two new fields, “Delivery Plan: Module” and “Delivery Plan: Components,” have been added to the OneFile: Portfolio section on the ILP Version page. Add these fields to the ILP to include the delivery plan. More information on creating ILP's can be found here.
- A new tile has been added to the learner’s portfolio page to allow anyone with access to their portfolio to view a learner's current and previous versions of the delivery plan. When in simple view, the tile can be seen in the Activity tab. The tile will only be shown when a learner has a current delivery plan. Clicking the tile will take the user to the delivery plan page. The number of current and previous delivery plans that the learner has is shown on the tile (excluding any draft plans). More information can be found here.
- Minimum OTJ Calculation - The ESFA has provided further clarification on the rounding used in their OTJH calculation template. You can view the template here.
To align with this, we have updated our calculation process. We now use the same rounding methods for calculating the minimum OTJ. Additionally, we have removed the “Minimum Hours Per Week” and “Leave Entitlement” fields from the timesheet page. These values are now calculated as per the ESFA template. - The episode start date is now displayed at the top of the delivery plan. The start and end dates of components within a locked delivery plan are based on the episode start date at the time the plan was locked.
If a learner’s start date changes, a new version of the delivery plan should be created and locked so that the new date is used
