Software Update: Wednesday 26th March 2025 (7am to 7:30am for EPortfolio)

On Wednesday, we're updating OneFile Eportfolio and Enrol, to introduce some enhancements and fixes.

Please ensure you are logged out of your Eportfolio account before 7am to prevent any data loss.

There will be no need to log out of Enrol.

New features and improvements

Eportfolio

• Mandatory Assessor Feedback on Assessments

  We have introduced a new feature to control whether assessor feedback must be provided to the learner before an assessment can be signed by the assessor.
  A new setting has been added to each assessment method to determine whether assessor feedback is mandatory. The default value for this setting is Off.
  When the setting is enabled, any assessment signed by the assessor with the primary or secondary setting set to that method must include feedback provided by the assessor to the learner.

Enrol

• Sticky submission banner and improved error feedback

We've made form completion easier for recipients! The submit button now stays visible at all times, no matter where they are on the form. It's always active, allowing them to submit even if something is missing. If there are errors, they'll receive instant feedback with clearly highlighted issues, making it easier to fix mistakes. These improvements should help boost response rates and reduce the need for support.

• Easier Logout

Now, users can log out directly from Enrol without the extra step of going through the keychain first. This change is designed to make logging out quicker and more convenient!

Bug fixes

• Tutors can now view employer forms

We're pleased to share that we've resolved a bug that was keeping tutors from accessing the employer-only forms in the employer's task section. Tutors can now easily access these forms, ensuring everything runs smoothly!

• Improved learner imports

We're happy to share that we've resolved a bug that was causing some hiccups when trying to import learners with extra blank spaces in their cells.

These changes aren't guaranteed to be included in this update.  Any changes to the above planned updates will be communicated in this thread!
