Upcoming Software Update: Enrol and RPL

On Thursday, 4th June 2026, we’ll be rolling out a series of improvements to Enrol and RPL.

Scheduled Downtime: Please note that there will be a brief Eportfolio service interruption between 7:00 and 7:30 AM on the day of the update.

Action required: To avoid any data loss, make sure you're logged out and have saved all work before 7:00am.

Approving qualifications

Overview

Approving a qualification ensures that the learning aim and unit structure assigned to a learner is accurate and meets your Centre’s requirements. This process includes checking mandatory and optional units, credit values and qualification structure before final approval.

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • Centre Manager
  • User Manager
  • Assessor (with permissions)
  • Internal Verifier (with permissions)

Permissions Required

  • Can manage learner accounts

Centre Setting

The following Centre setting may affect the availability of this feature:

  • Deny assessors access to setting learners’ details (including learning aims)

Steps

How to Approve a Qualification

  1. Log into your Practice Centre.
  2. Assign the qualification to the learner.
  3. Open the Unit Selection tab to review:
    • That all required units are available.
    • Units are displayed in the expected structure (e.g., mandatory/optional groups, min/max credits per group).
    • Units have the correct credit values and levels.
  4. Use the Gap Analysis within the learner’s portfolio to check unit content and assessment criteria.

  • Always verify the qualification structure before approving it.
  • Confirm that credit values and mandatory/optional groupings align with awarding‑body requirements.
