Schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting in Onefile

Overview

You can schedule Microsoft Teams meetings directly from Onefile, allowing Assessors to create online sessions that automatically appear in the calendars of the selected learners. Once scheduled, meetings can be edited or deleted up to five minutes before the start time. After this point, the option to join the meeting will be displayed instead of the edit option.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Assessor

How to Schedule a Microsoft Teams Meeting

  1. Click View Calendar on your dashboard.
  2. Click Schedule Online Meeting.
  3. Enter the Start Date/Time, End Date/Time, and a Subject.
  4. Select a class from the dropdown list and click Apply Filter.
  5. Select the learners you would like to invite.
  6. Click Save.

Once the meeting has been scheduled, it will appear in the OneFile calendar for the Assessor and all selected learners.

Editing or Deleting a Meeting

You can edit or delete a scheduled Teams meeting up to 5 minutes before the start date/time by:

  1. Clicking View Calendar.
  2. Selecting the meeting and clicking Edit.

Once the meeting is within five minutes of starting, the Edit option will no longer be available. Instead, the option to Join the meeting will appear.
