Overview
Microsoft Teams meetings scheduled in Onefile can be joined directly from the Calendar Widget on your homepage or through your Internet Calendar subscription. Learners and Assessors will only be able to join a meeting within five minutes of the scheduled start time.
Who Can Use This Feature?
This feature can be used by the following user roles:
- Assessor
- Learner
How to Join a Microsoft Teams Meeting
Join via the Calendar Widget
- Locate the Calendar widget on your Onefile homepage.
- Click the title of the Microsoft Teams meeting.
- Click Join.
You will then be prompted to open or download Microsoft Teams to join the meeting.
Join via the Internet Calendar
If you have subscribed to your Onefile calendar, Teams meetings will also appear in your external calendar.
- Open your external calendar.
- Locate the meeting and open the meeting details.
- Click the Microsoft Teams meeting link.
You will then be asked to open or download Microsoft Teams.
Not Visible?
If you cannot see the meeting in the Calendar widget:
- Click View Calendar — after the meeting start time, it will no longer display in the widget but is still available in the main calendar.
- If the meeting is still not visible, you may not have been invited by your Assessor/Tutor.
You can also use the Subscribe to Calendar feature to display Onefile meetings alongside your external calendar. Once subscribed, meetings will appear within your Internet Calendar, and you can join from the meeting details page.
Joining the Meeting
You will only be able to join the meeting five minutes before the scheduled start date and time.
