Setup Funding Calculator

Overview

You can set up a Funding Calculator for new or existing Apprenticeship Standards to support accurate funding calculations. This allows you to apply weightings, size KSBs, and add required reductions as part of the standard configuration process.

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • Client Owner
  • Finance Admin

How to Set Up a Funding Calculator

  1. Click Manage Standards.
  2. Click the three dots next to the standard you want to configure.
  3. Click Calculators.
  4. Click Setup funding calculator.
  5. Click Setup Calculator.
  6. Complete all required fields.
  7. Select whether you want to Size KSBs by Topics or Size KSBs by Criteria.
  8. Click the arrow to expand each Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours (KSBs) section.
  9. Select the weighting using the radio buttons (defaults to Medium if none selected).
  10. Enter your required reductions for each field.
  11. Click View summary.
  12. Click Setup calculator to complete the process.

Tips & Notes

  • Make sure all KSB weightings are reviewed before finalising the calculator setup.
  • Reductions can be adjusted later if the Standard or calculator requirements change.
