Archiving Learning Aims

Overview

This feature allows Centre Managers to archive learning aims that are no longer in use. Archiving keeps your Centre’s list organised and prevents outdated aims from being assigned to learners.

Who Can Use This Feature?

  • Centre Manager

Centre Settings

No additional centre settings are required to archive, view, or unarchive learning aims.

Steps to Archive a Learning Aim

Step 1: Navigate to Learning Aims

  • Click Centre in the navigation menu.
  • Click Learning Aims.

Step 2: Locate the Learning Aim

Step 3: Archive the Aim

  • Tick the box under the Archive column on the same row.
  • Click Save.

How to View Archived Learning Aims

Step 1: Open the Learning Aims List

  • Go to CentreLearning Aims.

Step 2: Show Archived Aims

  • Select Show Archived Learning aims
  • The list will refresh and display all archived aims.

How to Unarchive a Learning Aim

Step 1: Enable Archived View

  • Filter the list to show archived aims following the steps above.

Step 2: Unarchive the Aim

  • Find the aim you want to restore.
  • Untick the Archive checkbox on the same row.
  • Click Save.

Once unarchived, the learning aim becomes available again for new learner assignments.

Important Notes

  • Archiving does not affect learners who already have the learning aim assigned.
  • Unarchiving immediately restores the aim to the active list.

✅ Tip: Review your Centre’s learning aims regularly to archive those no longer used—this keeps assignment lists clean and reduces errors.
