Overview

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • Assessor
  • Learner

Steps

How to Send Evidence to Turnitin

  1. Access the learner’s Portfolio.
  2. Open either the Assessment or Assessment Evidence page.
  3. Scroll down to the Evidence files section.
  4. Click Turnitin Checker.
The button will update to Awaiting results.
  5. Once the check is complete, this will update to Similarity score: %.
  6. Click the Similarity score: % to open the report in Turnitin and review results.

Important Notes

  • Only PDF and Word documents can be checked using Turnitin.
  • A Turnitin check typically takes around 1 day to complete.
  • If the check fails three times, the user will receive a warning message with the failure reason.

Tips & Notes

  • Ensure files are correctly formatted before submission.
  • If a score does not appear within 24 hours, retry the check or contact your Centre Manager.
  • Not all Centres enable Turnitin — availability depends on Centre configuration.
