Feedback – Trainee Assessor Feedback Visibility

✨New feature alert

This feature is available from Wednesday, 23rd April 2026.

Overview

Counter‑signing (second‑line) Assessors can be granted visibility of Internal Verifier (IV) feedback left on work completed by Trainee Assessors. This supports improved quality assurance, oversight, and mentoring throughout the assessment process.

When enabled, counter‑signers will be able to view IV feedback associated with assessments, unit summaries, and reviews completed by the Trainee Assessor.

User Roles

This feature can be enabled by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager

How to Enable Trainee Assessor Feedback Visibility

  1. Log in as Centre Manager
  2. Click Users
  3. Click Trainee Assessor’s 
  4. Click Account next to the relevant user account.
  5. Cick Linked Accounts tab
  6. Enable the setting to allow counter‑signers to view IV feedback
  7. Save your changes.

Once enabled, the setting applies to feedback left by the Trainee Assessor across:

  • Assessments
  • Unit Summaries
  • Reviews

Tips & Notes

  • This feature is designed to support mentoring and quality assurance for Trainee Assessors.
  • Only IV feedback linked to the Trainee Assessor’s work will be visible to the assigned counter‑signer.
  • Visibility does not allow counter‑signers to edit IV feedback.
