Assign a Written Question Bank to a Learner

Overview

This article explains how to assign a Written Question Bank to a learner within Onefile Eportfolio. Written Questions are used to assess knowledge and understanding, and the correct Question Bank must be selected when creating the task. Please note that terminology may vary depending on your Centre.

User Roles

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Assessor
  • Trainee Assessor

Steps to Assign a Written Question Bank

  1. Navigate to the learner’s portfolio.
  2. Click Plans.
  3. Select Create Assessment Plan.
  4. Click Add Task.
  5. Choose Written Questions as the Assessment Method.
  6. From the drop‑down list, select the appropriate Question Bank.
  7. Enter Learner Instructions in the provided field.
  8. Click Save.

Once you have completed the rest of the plan:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  2. Click Sign and Save.

The learner will receive a task to complete the written questions after they sign the plan.

Important Notes

  • Ensure the correct Question Bank is selected before saving.
