How Do Tasks to Acknowledge Feedback Work?

Overview

Feedback in OneFile is a key communication tool between users. This feature ensures feedback is read and acknowledged by creating a task for the recipient.


Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Managers
  • Lead Internal Quality Assurers
  • Internal Quality Assurers
  • Assessors

Where Can Feedback Acknowledgement Tasks Be Created?

Tasks can be sent from the following areas:

  • Assessments
  • Assessor Observations
  • Learner Interviews
  • Plans
  • Reviews
  • Unit Summaries

How to Create a Task to Acknowledge Feedback

  1. Enter feedback in the Feedback and Comments textbox.
  2. Tick the checkbox Create task to acknowledge this feedback (located below the textbox).
  3. Save or sign the page.

Result:

  • The recipient receives a task and message to acknowledge the feedback.

How the Recipient Acknowledges Feedback

  • Open the task.
  • Click Mark as Read.
  • Once acknowledged, a green tick appears next to the user’s name.

ℹ️Important Notes

  • This feature encourages engagement with feedback and confirms it has been reviewed.

Troubleshooting

IssueSolution
Task not appearingEnsure the checkbox was ticked before saving/signing.
Cannot mark as readCheck if the task is active and linked to the correct feedback item.
