Reduced Support Availability: 8th–9th July 2026

Just to let you know, our team will be attending the Harris Computers all-company meeting on 8th and 9th July 2026, so we won't be as responsive as usual during this time.

Annotating Assessment Evidence

Overview

Assessors can annotate learner evidence within Holistic Assessments to provide detailed, contextual feedback. This feature requires the HTML editor to be enabled in Centre Settings.

User Roles

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Assessor
  • Trainee Assessor

Steps to Annotate Evidence

  1. Open the Assessment.
  2. Scroll to the Evidence section.
  3. Highlight the text you want to annotate.
  4. Click Annotate.
  5. Add your comments.
  6. Click Apply.

For Resubmitted Assessments

When a learner resubmits evidence with amendments, you will see comparison options to support further annotation:

  • Annotator – Annotate the latest evidence submission.
  • History – View the original submission and original annotation comments.
  • Both – View original (right side) and latest submission (left side) side‑by‑side.

You can also navigate through previous versions using the arrow icons when History or Both is selected.

✔️ Tip: Use the Both option for a side‑by‑side comparison when reviewing changes between submissions.
