Reduced Support Availability: 8th–9th July 2026

Just to let you know, our team will be attending the Harris Computers all-company meeting on 8th and 9th July 2026, so we won't be as responsive as usual during this time.

You can still access our help guides at any time — just search the Help Centre to find the answers you need. Otherwise, you can submit a ticket and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

If your issue is urgent, please set the priority accordingly so we can prioritise it on our return.

Thanks for your patience!

Change the publish option of a Custom Form

Overview

Custom Forms can be published in different modes depending on how they will be used within Onefile Eportfolio (e.g., Learner Review, Assessment, ILP). This guide explains how Centre Managers can update the publish option for an existing form.

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • Centre Manager

Permissions

  • Design and assign forms

Steps

How to Change the Publish Option of a Form

  1. Click Centre in the navigation menu.
  2. Click Forms.
  3. Click the Form Name of the form you want to update.
  4. Click Publish: On (or current publish state).
  5. Select the required Publish Option from the list.
  6. Click Save.

Tips & Notes

  • Top Tip: If the form is already assigned to learners, you must unassign and then reassign the form for the updated publish option to take effect.
  • Publish options control where and how the form can be used (e.g., Reviews, ILPs, Assessments).
  • Updating a form does not change historic form submissions.
