Change Learner status to Break in Learning

  User Roles

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Provider Admin
  • Financial Admin
  • Assessor

To change a learners status to break in Learning, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Learners
  2.  Click on Learner
  3.  Click Learning Delivery 
  4. Next to Current programme click the Context Menu
  5.  Click Break
  6. Add reason for break 
  7. Add the date the learner started their break in learning

Your learner will now appear on a break in learning.

Apprenticeship Contract Type

If you've added the ACT Date To, you may be required to update this to reflect the BIL start date.


I have put my learner on a break in learning in error, how do I undo this?

I have accidentally bought my learner back from a break in learning, when they should still be on a break.  How do I reinstate the break?
