  5. Enter the Description (e.g. Pass)

Repeat steps 3-6 to create all of the grades you require.

  1. Click Grade Ranges
  2. Click Create Grade Ranges
  3. Enter the Title
  4. Select the grades you want to be added to the grade range

Grading by Assessment Method

When you've created at least one Grade Range, you can now configure which Assessment Methods should be graded. To do this follow the steps below:

  3. Select the Method

  5. Tick if is should be mandatory for the grade to be selected
  6. Click Save

Grading by Class Assessment Method

If you want more control over which assessments need to be graded, you can also link the Grade Ranges to assessment methods for certain Classes. Doing this will make the grade range available on all assessments when the specified method is selected, but only for the learners assigned to the specified class. To do this follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Assessment Grading tab
  2. Click Assign Grade Range in the "Assessment Grading by Class Method" section
  3. Select the Class
  4. Select the Method
  5. Select the Grade Range
  6. Tick if is should be mandatory for the grade to be selected
  7. Click Save

Once the grade range has been assigned to a method a new section will appear at the bottom of the assessments titled "Grade".

The grade can only be set by the assessor which will become visible to the learner once the assessment has been signed.

If you chose to mark this grade range as Mandatory the assessor will not be able to sign the assessment until a grade is chosen from the drop-down list.
