Suspend user access

Overview

Suspending a user account removes their ability to log into Onefile without permanently deleting their profile. This is useful when a user leaves the organisation or temporarily no longer requires access.

Who Can Use This Feature?

  • Centre Manager
  • User Manager

Centre Settings

No additional centre settings are required to suspend a user.

Steps to Suspend User Access

Step 1: Open the Users Area

  • Click Users in the navigation menu.

Step 2: Locate the User

  • Search for the user whose access you want to suspend.
  • Click on the user’s Account.

Step 3: Suspend Access

  • Scroll to the bottom of the account page.
  • Tick the checkbox labelled Suspend user access.
  • Enter a reason for suspension (optional).
  • Click Save.

Once saved, the user will no longer be able to log into Onefile until their access is reinstated.

✅ Tip: Use suspension instead of deletion when users may return in the future or when you need to retain their historical activity.
