Upcoming Software Update: Enrol Onboarding

On Thursday, 18th June 2026, we’ll be rolling out a series of improvements to Enrol Onboarding.

Change Learner status

Overview

Learner Status can be updated directly from the learner’s portfolio and is used to reflect their current position within their programme. Statuses can also be set within Reviews and Assessment Plans when enabled.

Permissions

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager
  • Assessor (with permission)

Required Permissions

  • Can manage learner accounts

Steps

  1. Navigate to the learner’s portfolio.
  2. Click the Episode tab.
  3. Locate the Learner Status field.
  4. Select the new status from the drop‑down list.
  5. Click Save.

The updated status will now be displayed on the learner’s portfolio in the Information & Options section. You can also click this section to update the status at any time.

Setting Learner Status in Reviews and Assessment Plans

If the following setting is enabled, you can update the learner's status while completing Reviews or Assessment Plans:

  • Allow the learner status to be set on assessment plans and reviews

Tips & Notes

  • Statuses can help identify where a learner is in their programme lifecycle.
  • Ensure you have the correct permissions before attempting to update a learner’s status.
  • Status updates appear immediately across the system and reporting.
