Upcoming System Update: Eportfolio & Learning Journal

On Wednesday 21st January 2026, we’ll be rolling out a series of enhancements and fixes to Eportfolio.

Syncing Your OneFile Calendar with an External Calendar

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Assessor and Trainee Assessor
  • Learner

How to Sync Your OneFile Calendar

To sync your OneFile calendar with an external calendar application, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Dashboard in OneFile.
  2. Click View Calendar.
  3. Click Subscribe to Calendar.
  4. Copy the URL provided.
  5. Paste the URL into your preferred calendar application (see instructions below).

External Calendar Setup Instructions

Google Calendar

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. In the left panel, click the down arrow next to Other calendars.
  3. Select Add by URL.
  4. Paste the OneFile calendar URL.
  5. Click Add Calendar.

Microsoft Outlook (Office 365)

  1. Log in to your Office 365 account.
  2. Click the App Launcher and select Calendar.
  3. Click the New down arrow in the navigation bar.
  4. Select Add calendar > From internet.
  5. Paste the URL and click Save.

Microsoft Outlook (Desktop)

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Click the Calendar tab.
  3. In the ribbon, select Open Calendar > From Internet.
  4. Paste the URL and click OK.

iOS Calendar (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Tap Add Account > Other.
  4. Tap Add Subscribed Calendar.
  5. Paste the URL.
  6. Tap Next, then Save.

✅ Third-Party Calendar Compatibility

This feature has been tested with the following applications:

  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Office 365
  • Google Calendar
  • iOS Calendar

The OneFile calendar will display events from up to one year in the past and all future events.
