How to Update Your Appearance Settings in Onefile Eportfolio

Overview

Customising your appearance settings can make your account easier to read and more comfortable to use. Follow these steps to update your Theme, Colour Settings, and Font:

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • All Eportfolio users

1. Access Appearance Settings

  1. Log in to your Onefile Eportfolio account.
  2. Click on your name on the top right hand corner
  3. Select Appearance.

2. Choose a Theme

Under the Theme section, you can select from:

  • Greyscale (Default) – Neutral background.
  • Black & White – High contrast for accessibility.
  • Dark Blue / Yellow Background – Enhanced visibility.
  • Dark Blue / Green Background – Alternative color scheme.

✅ Tip: Pick a theme that suits your visual preference or accessibility needs.


3. Adjust Colour Settings

Colour indicators help you quickly identify progress:

  • Green – Completed progress.
  • Red – Not completed.
  • Amber – In progress.
  • Highlight – Used in signatures.
  • Text box colour – When typing feedback.

Note: These are preset indicators, but they can be changed to suit your preference and needs.


4. Customize Font

In the Font section:

  • Font Type: Choose from options like Arial, Calibri, Comic Sans, Times New Roman, Verdana, and more.
  • Font Size:
    • Use Theme Default, or
    • Select Smaller or Larger for custom scaling.
  • Preset Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large.

5. Save Your Changes

After making your selections:

  • Click Save (usually at the bottom of the page).

Web browser extensions can provide additional options for customisation, allowing users to tailor their browsing experience beyond the default settings. For guidance on approved tools and best practices, please contact your internal support team.
